Sell Ores Controls & UI
Every keybind, swipe gesture and UI panel you need to know before rolling your first ore.
Sell Ores runs on the standard Roblox control scheme, but the in-game UI adds a row of tycoon-specific panels that new players sometimes miss. This page maps every keybind, every touch gesture and every UI element so you can move, roll, sell and fuse without fumbling. If you have not started yet, the Getting Started page covers the day-one loop. For the gameplay strategy behind each control, see the Beginner Strategy guide.
PC and laptop keybinds
| Action | Default key | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Move | W A S D or arrow keys | Standard Roblox movement. |
| Jump | Space | Optional, used on Floor 5+ parkour jumps. |
| Interact / Use | E | Pick up the rolled ore, talk to NPCs, open machine slots. |
| Camera | Right-click drag | Hold right mouse and drag to orbit the camera. |
| Zoom | Mouse wheel | Scroll in to zoom out, scroll out to zoom in. |
| Open gear menu | M or click gear icon | Where the redeem box lives. |
| Open inventory | I | Shows ores, pets and gems. |
| Open shop | P | Robux shop and free daily bundle. |
| Open chat | Enter or / | Standard Roblox chat. |
| Screenshot | F12 or Roblox menu > Capture | Use the official Roblox capture so it lands in your game media. |
If you rebind any key through Roblox Settings, Sell Ores picks up the new binding instantly — there is no per-game keybind menu.
Mobile and tablet touch controls
The mobile client uses the same UI panels with larger touch targets. The most common gestures are:
- Tap — interact with machines, NPCs, roll buttons. Default behaviour on every Roblox UI.
- Drag — move an ore into a machine slot. Hold and drag the ore from the roll preview to an empty slot.
- Pinch — zoom the camera in and out. Useful on Floor 7 where the base is much larger.
- Two-finger drag — orbit the camera around your character.
- Swipe up from bottom — open the Roblox menu (gear icon, settings, exit).
Mobile-exclusive tips:
- Rotate to landscape if the gear menu text clips. The menu was designed for a wider viewport.
- Long-press an ore icon to inspect its tier and base value before slotting it.
- The redeem box stays at the bottom of the gear menu — scroll all the way down.
Console and Xbox controls
Xbox and PlayStation controllers work out of the box. The default mapping is:
- Left stick — move.
- Right stick — orbit camera.
- A / Cross — interact.
- B / Circle — jump.
- Y / Triangle — open gear menu.
- X / Square — open inventory.
- Triggers (LT / RT) — zoom in / out.
- D-pad — quick-select UI panels.
The redeem box opens with the gear menu on console too, so the How to Redeem walkthrough applies identically.
UI panel map
The Sell Ores HUD has seven core panels. Each one stays docked to a corner by default:
- Top left — Cash counter and leaderboard position.
- Top centre — current Floor indicator and unlock progress.
- Top right — gear icon, settings and the redeem box entry point.
- Centre left — ore queue, shows what is processing right now.
- Centre right — Roll machine and slot count.
- Bottom left — Pet inventory and active pet.
- Bottom right — chat and quick actions.
If a panel blocks your view, drag it to a different corner. The layout persists across sessions.
Quality-of-life shortcuts
- R — re-roll (if enabled in Settings). Re-rolls the last roll result for a small Cash fee.
- Tab — toggle leaderboard.
- Esc — open Roblox menu (gear, settings, exit).
- Shift + E — quick-sell the highlighted ore (great for clearing Common Ore after Floor 1).
These shortcuts are not documented inside the game itself — they are part of the standard Roblox client — but they save real time once you memorise them.
Troubleshooting common control issues
- Touch controls not responding — close the Roblox app fully and reopen. Backgrounded clients sometimes drop the touch layer.
- Mouse drift on PC — recalibrate your mouse through Roblox Settings > Controls.
- Camera spinning uncontrollably — press R to reset the camera angle, or restart the client.
- Gear menu missing — switch back to portrait on mobile, or check that you are not in a cutscene on PC.

Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers to the most common questions.
Does Sell Ores support controllers?
Yes. Xbox and PlayStation controllers work on PC, console and mobile. The default mapping is left stick for movement, A/Cross for interact, Y/Triangle for the gear menu. There is no in-game keybind menu — you rebind through Roblox Settings.
Can I rebind keys inside Sell Ores?
No per-game keybinds. Use Roblox Settings > Controls to remap. Sell Ores picks up the new binding on the next session.
Where is the redeem box on mobile?
Same gear menu as PC — top right corner. Scroll to the bottom of the menu. Rotate to landscape if the text clips on smaller phones.
Why is my camera spinning?
Right-click drag is the camera orbit. If it spins on its own, the client has lost focus. Press Escape, then click back into the game. Restarting the client fixes it permanently.
Is there a quick-sell shortcut?
Yes. Shift + E on PC quick-sells the highlighted ore. On mobile and console, drag the ore directly onto the Sell button.
