Sell Ores August 2026 Patch Recap

August 2026 was the biggest month in Sell Ores history. The Ore Drillers shipped six patches including the introduction of the Fuser machine, the 51-pet roster, the Ascended Ore endgame, the Prismatic upgrade system, and a sweeping balance pass. All August 2026 patches, ranked by impact

1. August 25 �?Ascended Ores & Prismatic Upgrades (S tier patch)

The headline patch. Introduced:

• Ascended Ores �?Mythic Ores that have passed through three Fuser cycles. +75% sell value over baseline.
• Prismatic upgrades �?random 1.5x�?x multipliers rolled from the Fuser bonus output.
• Pet-ore combo system �?S-tier pets paired with matching Mythics now grant a hidden +10% Cash bonus.
• New 12-hour Fuser cooldown to gate the upgrade curve.

2. August 18 �?51 Pets & Fuser Update (S tier patch)

The mid-month feature patch. Introduced:

• 51-pet roster �?up from 18 pets.
• Fuser machine on Floor 7 �?fuse duplicates for Mega-Tier Ores.
• Pet Fusion event �?2x fusion speed for the first week.
• Growth Gem drops �?Small, Medium, Devil’s tiers.

3. August 22 �?Major Balance Update (A tier patch)

A wide balance pass. Buffed Mythic Ores by 10�?0%, nerfed Epic-tier auto-roll odds, fixed a dupe exploit on the Fuser queue. Full notes on the August 22 patch page.

4. August 15 �?How to Play Update (B tier patch)

A tutorial rework aimed at new players. Added the new player onboarding path, the diary rewards panel, and a beginner-friendly gear menu. Full notes on the August 15 patch page.

5. August 2026 monthly wave (B tier patch)

The early-month code and cosmetics wave. Released the codes SORRYFORDATA, BALANCE, PETFUSION, EXPANSION, and RELEASE. Added two new cosmetics crates. Full notes on the August 2026 page.

6. August 18 hotfix (C tier patch)

A small hotfix rolled out 4 hours after the 51-pet patch. Fixed a duplication glitch on Pet Fusion, patched a Cash overflow in the redeem box, and rebalanced a few Mythic Ore spawn rates. Bundled into the August 18 patch page.

Combined impact on the meta

The August patch cycle pushed the meta in three big ways:

1. Floor 7 became the new endgame ceiling. Before August, Floor 5 was the practical ceiling for most accounts. The Fuser + Ascended Ore combo gave Floor 7 a real purpose.
2. Pet multipliers became mandatory. The combo system on August 25 made the gap between S-tier pets and A-tier pets wider than ever.
3. Cash economy inflated. Buffed Mythics + Prismatic rolls + balance pass combined to roughly double the average Cash/hour on Floor 7.
