Sell Ores Getting Started

Welcome to Sell Ores. Sell Ores is a Roblox mining tycoon by The Ore Drillers where you roll for ores, slot them into a machine, upgrade your Drill, and climb through seven Floors to dominate the leaderboard. The first session can feel slow because the game does not explain its loop very well — this guide compresses everything you need to know about the first 30 minutes into one page.

Day-one checklist

1. Finish the tutorial. The redeem box is locked behind the tutorial reward.
2. Redeem the active Sell Ores codes inside the gear menu.
3. Claim your Diary Rewards. Free Cash and starter ores drop every day.
4. Roll for an ore and slot it into an empty machine slot.
5. Upgrade your Drill Level before chasing bigger rolls.
6. Save 10,000 Cash for the first Floor unlock.

How to play Sell Ores

The core loop is Roll → Place → Process → Sell → Upgrade. Every Roll costs Cash, places an ore into an available slot, processes it on a timer, and then sells it for more Cash than you paid. The Cash you earn funds Drill upgrades, Floor unlocks, and rarer Roll tiers.

• Roll — Tap the Roll machine on the right side of your base to roll a new ore. The cost and the rarity depend on your current Floor.
• Place — Drag the ore into an empty slot. Common Ores fill empty slots faster than Mythic Ores.
• Process — Wait for the timer. Higher tier ores take longer but sell for more.
• Sell — Tap the Sell button when the timer finishes. The Cash lands instantly.
• Upgrade — Pump Cash into Drill, Ore Speed, Ore Level and Luck to make the next loop faster.

Beginner strategy

The single biggest beginner mistake is chasing expensive rolls too early. Your Drill and Ore Speed upgrades outvalue bigger Rolls for the first two hours of play. A Cheap Roll + a fast Drill beats an expensive Mythic roll + a slow Drill every time. Until you have Drill Level 5 and Ore Speed 5, keep rolling on the cheapest band your Floor allows.

The second biggest mistake is ignoring Diary Rewards. The Diary Rewards panel drips free Cash and starter ores every day — small amounts, but enough to push a fresh account to Floor 2 within the first week.

When to redeem codes

Redeem codes immediately after the tutorial because the gear menu is locked until then. The order of operations should be:

1. Finish the tutorial.
2. Open the gear menu, redeem every active code.
3. Use the Cash bundle on the first Floor unlock.
4. Use the Time Skips to process the first batch of Rare Ores.
5. Use the Growth Gems on the rarest Pet you hatch on Floor 1.

What to upgrade first

Upgrade priorities for the first hour of play:

• Drill Level — Always top priority. Doubles processing speed at level 5.
• Ore Speed — Second priority. Compounds with Drill Level.
• Luck — Third priority. Helps you roll rarer ores.
• Ore Level — Fourth priority. Increases the value of every ore you process.

Avoid the Floor unlock until you have at least 15,000 Cash in your wallet — the Floor 2 unlock costs around 10K and you want a buffer for Roll costs.
