August 25, 2026 Ascended Ores & Prismatic Update

On August 25, 2026 The Ore Drillers shipped a focused endgame update to Sell Ores. The patch adds the Ascended Ore tier to the Mythic band, unlocks Prismatic mutations as a bonus output of the Fuser cooldown, and introduces the Prismatic Fusion event that runs through the rest of the season. This page walks through every change in the August 25 update and tells you which wiki pages were rewritten to match.

Ascended Ore tier

The August 25 patch added a brand-new tier above the existing Mythic Ores. Ascended Ores are Mythic Ores that have been fed through three completed Fuser cycles. Each cycle adds roughly 15%–25% to the base sell value, so an Ascended Ore sells for about 60%–75% more than the baseline Mythic version.

Two Ascended Ores are in the live game right now:

  • Ascended Gargantuan — Highest absolute sell value of any Ore. Best for overnight processing runs.
  • Ascended Voidshard — Highest value per second of any Ore. Pairs with Cosmic Ram Pet for the strongest endgame combo.

Ascended Ores cannot be rolled directly. The only way to obtain them is to feed two duplicate Mythic Ores of the same kind into the Fuser machine three times in a row. The Mythic Ores tier list was rewritten to rank Ascended Ores at the very top.

Prismatic mutations

The August 25 patch also introduced Prismatic mutations — random multiplier rolls that drop as the bonus output of the Fuser cooldown. The base value is the same as the Mega-Tier Ore you fed in, but the Prismatic mutation stacks a 1.5x–4x multiplier on top.

The three Prismatic Ores currently in the live game:

  • Prismatic Fossil — Common roll. Multiplier range 1.5x–2.2x.
  • Prismatic Magma — Rarer roll. Multiplier range 1.8x–2.8x.
  • Prismatic Voidshard — Rarest roll. Multiplier range 2.0x–4.0x.

Prismatic rolls are not a reliable Cash source because they depend on luck, but a 4x Prismatic Voidshard is the highest single-Ore Cash return in the game. The Best Ores page was rewritten to factor Prismatic Ores into the C-tier lottery band.

Fuser endgame loop

The Fuser cooldown was extended from 12 hours to 16 hours in this update, but the bonus Prismatic roll was added as compensation. The new endgame loop on Floor 7 looks like:

  1. Roll a Mythic Ore (Voidshard is best).
  2. Wait for a duplicate of the same Ore.
  3. Feed the pair into the Fuser.
  4. Receive a Mega-Tier Ore plus a chance at a Prismatic mutation.
  5. Sell the Mega-Tier Ore (or hold it for the next Fuser cycle).
  6. Repeat three times to ascend the Ore.

A Floor 7 player who runs the loop every day can expect roughly one Ascended Ore every five days and roughly one Prismatic roll per week.

Code drops

The August 25 update did not ship any new codes. Every code currently active was added during the August 22 balance wave — see the Active Codes page for the live list.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the most common questions.

What are Ascended Ores in Sell Ores?

Ascended Ores are Mythic Ores that have been fed through three completed Fuser cycles on Floor 7. They sell for 60%–75% more than the baseline Mythic version and they hold the top two slots on the [Mythic Ores tier list](/tier-list/mythic-ores-tier/).

How do Prismatic mutations work?

Prismatic mutations are random multiplier rolls that drop as the bonus output of the Fuser cooldown. They can stack a 1.5x–4x multiplier on top of the Mega-Tier Ore base value. Prismatic Voidshard is the rarest roll and holds the highest potential Cash return in the game.

Was the Fuser cooldown changed in this update?

Yes. The Fuser cooldown was extended from 12 hours to 16 hours in the August 25 update. The bonus Prismatic roll was added as compensation, so the average Cash per Fuser cycle is roughly the same as before.

Did the August 25 update add any codes?

No. Every code currently in rotation was added during the August 22 balance wave. The [Active Codes](/codes/all-active/) page lists every live code.

Do scripts work with the new Fuser cycle?

Yes. The Auto Fuse Mega script on the [Scripts Hub](/scripts/) handles the new 16-hour Fuser cooldown automatically and includes a Prismatic roll toggle for players who want to bank their mutations. See the [Auto Fuse Mega](/scripts/auto-fuse-mega/) page for setup details.
